Installation of the Month: The Greens 6th August 2018

Follow the experience of our Maze Grass customers and let us be a service to you:

2nd August: One of our Maze Grass sales representatives received an enquiry from a landscaping company who was referred to by a previous customer. On the same day action was taken and a high level of customer service was provided to suit their needs.

3rd August: A meeting took place on site for measurements and property inspection as always, the range of products are explained in detail with all questions answered to further help the customer’s understanding. The Maze Grass team are all trained to offer professional advice and assist with any uncertainty to provide the best-suited solution where possible.

4th August: Once the quote was received by the client and confirmed, our Maze Grass landscaping team were notified of the job. We started work at a time suiting the residential restrictions and considered the schedule of the customer. The team started by removing the existing earth, dirt, and sand down to the required depth. Then a crushed rock aggregate was introduced to form the new base. This process is generally the most time-consuming part of the installation.

5th August: Compacting of the new aggregate base was started and completed the same day, making sure the ground was perfectly level. The required amount of grass arrives on site ready for fixing. The grass was then laid out in the correct measured direction ensuring material wastage is minimal.

6th August: Was the final day of work, the Maze Grass installation team worked extremely hard to complete the job ready for final handover to the customer. During the final stages of the installation process, the Maze Grass supervisor was present to oversee the final stages of work. As per all our installations, we applied silica sand at 5 kgs per square meter for stability and protection. It was then brushed deep into the root zone of the grass to create a lasting memory for all grass fibers to stand.
